About Us
Association for Rehabilitation of Village and Impairment (ARVI)
We strongly believe that an end to poverty and injustice can be achieved through purposeful individual and collective action, led by the active agency of people living in poverty.
ARVI TRUST is registered under the Indian Trust Act of 1882 since 1995. We work towards the upliftment of indigenous, downtrodden, vulnerable, weaker sections of the (SC/ST/OBC & minority) and rural community in India for the past 22 years.
We have established a successful partnership with government organizations, NGOs, and individuals who work with people with disabilities in the Middle and South Zone of Tamil Nadu. ARVI is the nodal agency for implementing the Differently Abled and Vulnerable Development Programs.
ARVI TRUST strives towards creating a positive, enduring change in the lives of children, families, and communities living in abject poverty and undue inequality. Irrespective of religion, caste, creed, race, ethnicity, or gender, ARVI Trust extends a helping hand to anyone and everyone who deserves it. With a wide network spanning 10 locations in India, ARVI Trust lends help through long-term sustainable community programs and immediate disaster relief assistance.
OBJECTIVES:
ARVI is an NGO that strongly believes differently-abled children can learn to lead a normal life if they have effective access to services like early identification, intervention, education, vocational training, employment opportunities, and the availability of aids and appliances.
The objective of this program is to help the children overcome their physical and mental limitations so that they can become independent and self-reliant members of the community. The overall objective of ARVI is to help create a bright future for those with an intellectual and developmental disability and who have very limited resources to help them achieve this.
